Privacy Policy

Effective date: 19 October 2026 — Last updated: 19 October 2026

This policy explains how Ondeloria, operated by TCMV LLC (a limited liability company registered in New Mexico, United States, Business ID 0008134806), collects, uses and shares your personal data when you visit or buy from ondeloria.com. Because we sell to customers in the United Kingdom, we act as data controller under the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. What we collect

Identity and contact details: name, billing and delivery address, email address, telephone number. We ask for a phone number because our carriers use it to arrange delivery, especially for larger pieces.

Order information: lights bought or viewed, order history, returns, refunds and damage or fault claims.

Payment information: handled securely by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number. Payment data is encrypted to the PCI-DSS standard.

Device and browsing information: browser type, IP address, time zone, cookie identifiers, pages viewed and how you interact with the Site, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.

Messages: what you write to us, including photographs or videos you send us for a damage or fault claim, and your email address if you choose to subscribe to our newsletter.

We do not knowingly collect special category data.

2. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

To fulfil your order — taking payment, arranging delivery, sending confirmations and invoices. Lawful basis: performance of our contract with you.

To support you — answering questions about an order, a delivery, a return, a damaged or faulty light. Lawful basis: performance of our contract, and our legitimate interest in running a service that works.

To prevent fraud — screening orders for risk. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests.

To send you marketing emails — only if you have asked for them. Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email.

To advertise and measure our advertising — including showing you our ads on other sites. Lawful basis: your consent, given through our cookie banner.

To improve the Site — analytics on how visitors use it. Lawful basis: your consent for non-essential cookies.

To meet our legal obligations — tax, accounting and consumer law record-keeping. Lawful basis: legal obligation.

3. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with the providers who help us run the store:

  • Shopify — our ecommerce platform, which hosts the Site and stores order data on secured servers;
  • Payment providers — to process your payment securely;
  • Suppliers and fulfilment partners — your name, delivery address and phone number, so your light can be packed and dispatched to you;
  • Delivery carriers — your name, address and phone number, so your parcel can be delivered and tracked;
  • Email providers — to send order emails, and marketing emails if you have subscribed;
  • Analytics and advertising partners, including Google — see section 4.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, to respond to a lawful request from an authority, or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal data.

We are based in the United States, and some of our providers are outside the United Kingdom. Where your data is transferred outside the UK, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified under it.

4. Cookies and advertising

We use cookies to keep your basket working, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the Site, and measure our advertising. Essential cookies are always on, because the Site cannot function without them. Analytics and advertising cookies are set only with your consent, which you give or refuse through the banner when you first arrive and can change at any time.

Advertising partners such as Google may use cookies to show you Ondeloria ads on other websites. You can also manage interest-based advertising through your Google ad settings, and control cookies through your browser settings — though disabling them may affect parts of the shopping experience.

5. How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our legal retention obligations for tax, accounting and consumer law purposes, then delete or anonymise them. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in the relevant tool.

6. Your rights

You have the right to: be told what data we hold about you and get a copy of it; have inaccurate data corrected; have your data deleted, subject to our legal retention obligations; restrict or object to our processing, including profiling for advertising; receive your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it.

How to exercise them. Email contact@ondeloria.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We may need to confirm that you control the email address linked to your orders. We respond within one month, as the law requires.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

7. Security

Our store runs on Shopify. Data is held behind secured networks and firewalls, and payment transactions are encrypted to the PCI-DSS standard. No transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

8. Third-party links

The Site may link to other websites. Once you leave ondeloria.com we are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their own policies.

9. Children

The Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or for legal and operational reasons. The revised version will appear on this page with a new “last updated” date, and we will tell you about significant changes.
