About wall lights
Light at eye level, where you actually live: beside a bed instead of a bedside lamp, along a hallway or a staircase, either side of a mirror or a painting.
Wall lights give a softer, more flattering light than a single ceiling fitting, because they wash the wall instead of shining down on you. Along a corridor, repeat the same piece every two to three metres; beside a bed, fit it at about shoulder height when you sit up to read.
Every wall light is hard-wired and should be fitted by a qualified electrician.
