An opal glass globe wrapped in a single band of metal that spirals around it. Lit, the globe glows softly from within and the band draws a fine line across it — a small piece of sculpture on the wall.

The frame is drawn as one continuous spiral that wraps the globe and returns to the wall. Seen from the side it is barely there; seen from the bed it is a small sculpture.
The opal glass hides the light source completely, so the wall around it glows evenly instead of carrying a hard spot.
